The focaccia barese is part of the Apulian tradition, definitely a must try during your holiday in Puglia.

It is a delicious snack for every moment of the day, between meals or as break time, and sometimes replacing lunch or dinner.

The focaccia was born as an alternative of the bread and currently is one of the best Apulian street food.

You can find various versions including the classical with tomatoes and olive, with the addition of potatoes and the white one with rosemary.
