Blue Flags 2024: which are the best destinations in Puglia

The Sea of Puglia obtains 24 Blue Flags for the season 2024.
From the Gargano way down to the Salento here are the destinations where to find clean water: starting from the north of the Puglia, Peschici is once more confirmed as Blue Flag on the Gargano, with Sfinale Beach, Gusmay Beach, San Nicola Bay, Calalunga Bay, Peschici Bay, Bay of Manaccora, Procinisco and Bay of Peschici. Considered the Pearl of the Adriatic Sea, the typical old town of Peschici worths a visit.
In the province of Foggia keep the award Zapponeta Lido, Rodi Garganico, Tremiti Island and Vieste with the beaches of San Lorenzo and Scialara.

In the BAT province the recognition has been given again to Bisceglie with the La Salata, Salsello and Scogliera Scalette Beaches.
In the South area of Bari is well consolidated the presence of Polignano with its crystal waters and the suggestive panorama from the top of the historical centre perched on the cliff above the sea.
As well as Monopoli : a charming town overlooking the Adriatic coast which offers kilometres of sandy shoreline especially in the Capitolo area. Moreover, the ancient city stands out for a very interesting historical and cultural heritage and a vibrant nightlife.
Going towards the south Savelletri and Torre Canne have been also recognized, both belonging to the municipality of Fasano, the Marine of Ostuni and the Nature Reserve and Protected Marine of Torre Guaceto, in Carovigno territory.

In Salento is re-elected the Marine of Melendugno with San Foca, Torre dell’Orso, Roca, Torre Sant’Andrea, Torre Specchia; the accreditation was also received from Lecce city for San Cataldo Marine.
Castro have been nominated again with the famous Zinzulusa Cave and La Sorgente.
On the Lecce Ionian side keep the Blue Flag Torre Pali and Marina di Pescoluse, often called as “Maldives of Salento” for the highly clear water and the fine sand seabed.
And Ugento with the beaches of Torre San Giovanni, Torre Mozza and Lido Marini.
A new entry 2024 is Patù with Felloniche and San Gregorio beaches.
On the shore of Nardò there’s plenty of choice from Santa Maria al Bagno to Torre Squillace, passing through Santa Caterina, Porto Selvaggio and Sant’Isidoro.
Gallipoli, including Litoranea Sud and Litoranea Nord areas remains on the list even this year.

In Taranto province Maruggio, Castellaneta Marina, Marina di Ginosa and Leporano are included. Manduria with the beautiful location of San Pietro in Bevagna has just been certified.
